Cilacap Regency has various tourism destination of great interents. There are also places that have great potential to be developed as new tourism destination. One of those places is Adireja. Adireja can be developed into magnificent tourism destination because it has an incredible beauty. Adireja is considered a great place to be developed into beautiful tourism destination because it combines three different elements into one striking beauty: lake, river, and hill. Plus one additional bonus: near the beach.

Adireja is located only about 20 kilometers from Cilacap. This fact make the place has great potential to be develop into Water World tourism destination like Owabong which is located in Banyumas, or Sea World like Taman Impian Jaya Ancol in Jakarta.

The place, which is near from Cilacap, is considered a plus because it can be easily reached. Another consideration is that many people in Cilacap are eager to get quality recreational destination. The striking beauty of Adireja make it great to be develop into strategic location for new tourism destination.


There are rooms for improvements. More threes can be planting around Adireja hills to make the place more interesting to visit. A strategy that can be very effective to get more tourists is to change the barren hills into forestry hills where people can hike through the jungle.

Building the Water World, Sea World, and Jungle Tracking are three combination that create uniqueness in Adireja. Apart from that, the location is also near from Selok Hill in Srandil. The nearness of the location can be considered as an additional plus to attracts more tourists.

If these goals can be achieved, Cilacap can be turned into one of the best tourist destination in Central Java, and even Indonesia.

Of course, to achieve this goal, win-win synergy must be created between the local government, local people of Adireja, and the Cilacap community in general.
