Only a few regencies in Central Java are equipped with airport, and Cilacap is one of that few that operated an airport. The airport of Cilacap regency, Tunggul Wulung, is located in Jeruklegi. It takes only about 15 minutes drive from Cilacap city to Tunggul Wulung Airport.
Tunggul Wulung is a commercial airport that serve the flight of Cilacap-Jakarta-Cilacap route. Merpati Airlines serves two domestic scheduled destination in this route seven times a week. If don’t have time for a long journey from Cilacap to Jakarta and return, flying is your best choice.
